Last month at Bunco I won an awesome prize.
The Elf on the shelf book and elf.
What a great idea. Santa's little helper shows up each morning to watch over the kids for Santa. Then returns each night to report how the kids are behaving. This is going to be fun.
Day 1, December 1st. This morning Blake came into my room telling me that there was "a creepy elf reading a book on the couch". Made me laugh. We sat down by our little elf friend and read the book. Blake was a little more comfortable having him there. Hopefully he will be a little more excited each morning, now that he knows he will be around until Christmas.
