I love this time of year. There is an endless supply of free sunflowers off the side of the road. All you have to do is stop and pick them.
Damon tells me about when he was a kid and there was wild asparagus growing on the side of the road. That would be nice, but we're happy with what we can get.

Every girl loves to get flowers. My hubby has learned that if he wants to give me flowers, they better be really cheap or free, because I am terrible at keeping them alive for longer than a day.
